Andrew Mambondiyani

Andrew Mambondiyani is a Zimbabwe correspondent for the UK-based magazine, Think Africa Press. His work has won numerous honors, including the Environment Africa Award for reporting on the effects of global warming and climate change on rural communities in Zimbabwe. He received the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists Water Conservation Award in 2005 and the Zimpapers Agricultural Reporter of the Year Award in 2006. In 2010 and 2011 he served as a Knight Science Journalism fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2007, he served as one of the ten inaugural recipients of the Middlebury College environmental journalism fellowships.
