Banda Khalifa is a physician-epidemiologist, public health strategist, and global health leader with more than a decade of experience in health security, clinical research, and evidence-based policy development. His expertise lies in leveraging epidemiological data and strategic leadership to strengthen health systems and drive data-driven innovation across public health and industry.
He has led high-impact initiatives in vaccine policy, pharmacoepidemiology, and health security, advising organizations such as the World Health Organization, the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, and other international health agencies. His work spans global health, policy, and real-world evidence, bridging the gap between public health and industry-driven solutions to ensure evidence-based strategies shape global health policies and interventions.
Khalifa’s core areas of expertise include global health strategy and policy advisory, where he plays a key role in shaping health policies, emergency preparedness, and disease surveillance strategies for global institutions. He specializes in pharmacoepidemiology and real-world evidence, conducting research on vaccine policy, drug safety, and treatment outcomes to inform regulatory and public health decisions. Currently pursuing a PhD in epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University, his research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology, vaccine strategy, and health security.
