Eunice Chung

Eunice Chung is currently a postbaccalaureate premedical student with a strong background in neuroscience and public health. An immigrant, Eunice brings a unique perspective to her work as a medical interpreter, informed by her lived experience navigating health-care and social systems. Her academic pursuits and professional experiences as a medical interpreter in California have deepened her commitment to addressing disparities in health-care access for immigrant and marginalized communities. Eunice's research focuses on advancing equity in medical care, and advocating for the inclusion of minority dialects in medical interpretation services. She is dedicated to bridging linguistic and cultural divides to ensure that every patient receives compassionate and effective care.
