Heather Stobaugh

Heather Stobaugh is a senior research and learning specialist at Action Against Hunger.  Stobaugh possesses a unique blend of experience in on-the-ground program implementation and high-quality scientific research in global nutrition. She has 15 years of experience engaging in a variety of research studies as well as technical advising for development and emergency nutrition programs around the world. She now continues her research at Action Against Hunger with aims to identify innovative solutions to managing malnutrition and improve the evidence-base behind nutrition policies and programs. Her work mostly focuses on child acute malnutrition and underlying drivers of such, including health, food security, infant and young child feeding, and water and sanitation. Stobaugh has a Ph.D. in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from the Friedman School of Nutrition at Tufts University and also teaches at the graduate level of Tufts.
