Jonna Jeurlink

Jonna Jeurlink has more than 18 years of experience in global development and health. She worked for the Netherlands and later the United Kingdom permanent missions to the United Nations in New York. In New York, she negotiated multiple multilateral agreements related to human rights and global development and served as a representative to the boards of the UN Funds and Programs. In 2013, she moved to Gavi in Geneva, where she is the current senior country manager (SCM) to Malawi and Tanzania (and prior SCM to Liberia and the Gambia). In this capacity she oversees the implementation of Gavi’s multimillion dollar vaccine support and funding at country level, working in close cooperation with the EPI teams and alliance partners to creatively mitigate all obstacles that relate to on-the-ground implementation. She holds postgraduate degrees from the University of Amsterdam.
