Julia Smith is a Research Associate in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University in Canada. Her research and teaching interests center around the commercial, political and social determinants of health. Julia holds a PhD in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford in the U.K. and has worked with health and development projects in Africa, Europe, and North America.
