Kavya Shah

Kavya Shah is a student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service majoring in science, technology, and international affairs with a concentration in biotechnology and global health. Interested in biosecurity, pandemic preparedness, and health justice, she has worked in a basic science lab studying amyloidosis and on projects studying migrant health during COVID-19. As a fall 2021 GHI student fellow, she worked with Dr. Leticia Bode to study health misinformation and how to mitigate its impacts. As a spring 2022 GHI student fellow, she worked with Jessica Kritz to study cross-sector collaboration in addressing complex health challenges.
