Nathaniel Hupert, MD, MPH, FACP, is an Associate Professor at Cornell University's Weill Medical College and Co-Director of the Cornell Institute for Disease and Disaster Preparedness. He is a physician and researcher focused on public health emergency response logistics. He served ten years as Senior Medical Advisor to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Preparedness and Emerging Infections. He was also Medical Advisor for the U.S. Hospital Preparedness Program and served on the Scientific Advisory Board of the National Institute of Health’s Modeling of Infectious Disease Agent Study (MIDAS). Nathaniel trained at Harvard Medical School and School of Public Health, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
