Ruvandhi Nathavitharana

Ruvandhi Nathavitharana, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School and vice chair of TB Proof. A tuberculosis (TB) researcher and attending physician in infectious diseases, Nathavitharana’s research is focused on TB diagnostics and transmission prevention. She is passionate about working with communities to use evidence-based approaches to advocate for high quality care for all people affected by TB and to amplify the voices of TB survivors in these efforts.
