Serena Giacomin
Serena Giacomin is president of the Italian Climate Network and a consultant for climate risk management. Giacomin is a physicist and climatologist who majored in atmospheric physics at the University of Bologna. She serves as an expert commentator, providing weather forecasts and environmental insight columns on national television and for radio outlets in Italy. She also is the coauthor, with Luca Perri, of the book "Penguins at the Equator: Not Everything You Hear About Climate Is True" (2020). Giacomin is a lecturer, a trainer for De Agostini Scuola, and coauthor of the secondary school manual "Science Live" (Garzanti Scuola, 2020).
