Vineet Kumar Sharma

Vineet Kumar Sharma, MD MS, is a third-year emergency medicine resident at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Originally from Southern California, he went to University of California, Los Angeles for undergraduate and graduate education before earning his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Sharma served with AmeriCorps and is passionate about enhancing emergency care in the community with initiatives that focus on social determinants of health among underserved populations, as well as in the hospital through research, operational and quality improvement projects.
