Cynthia Bauer is the CEO and co-founder of Kupenda for the Children with Leonard Mbonani, a special needs teacher. Cynthia was born without her left hand and told she might have been killed if she lived in Africa, like many others with disabilities. Therefore, Kupenda focuses on transforming harmful beliefs connected to disability to those that improve children's lives
