Eyad Ali

Eyad Ali, a first-year medical student at Harvard Medical School, has a passion for global health, humanitarian research, and medical education. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with degrees in public health (international health concentration) and natural sciences. Born in Virginia, Eyad spent much of his upbringing in Qatar and Kuwait and remains deeply connected to his Sudanese roots in Khartoum. He currently works with the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab, where he focuses on assessing the impact of conflict on Sudan’s health-care infrastructure. He is also an active member of the Sudanese American Physicians Association’s Youth Chapter, contributing to initiatives that support medical professionals and health-care systems in Sudan.
