Hilary Hungerford

Hilary Hungerford, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Earth Science at Utah Valley University. She has a doctorate in geography from the University of Kansas. She has worked on water infrastructure and conservation issues in West Africa and Utah. In 2024, Hungerford is a Fulbright Scholar in Mongolia, teaching sustainability classes at the National University of Mongolia and doing research on water infrastructure and inequality in Ulaanbaatar.  She is active in environmental conservation in Utah, and currently serves on the board of the Utah Lake Authority and the Orem Natural Resource Stewardship Committee.
