Reiner Lorenzo J. Tamayo

Reiner Lorenzo Tamayo is a registered nurse and aspiring policy analyst with experience in clinical nursing and health research. As Senior Science Research Specialist, he is involved in the development and review of benefit packages and provider payment policies of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth). He is also leading a project funded by the Stop TB Partnership focusing on the community-led monitoring of Tuberculosis services in Metro Manila, Philippines. Currently, he is pursuing a graduate degree in health policy at the University of the Philippines Manila where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
